GLOSSARY

ANOVA test

ANOVA test is a statistical test that compares the statistical differences between the means of two or more datasets. It is a parametric test which means the datasets must adhere to some assumptions to be able to use this test. The assumptions are that the datasets are normally distributed, are independent variables, and have equal variances. The ANOVA test is particularly used for comparative studies.
