GLOSSARY

Non Parametric Test

A non parametric test is a kind of statistical test that is not based on any assumptions about its datasets. The datasets don’t have to be normally distributed. A non parametric test is also useful to analyse a small sample size as it may not be possible to determine the distribution of the sample. A non parametric test is also suitable for ordinal or nominal data. Some examples of non parametric tests are Chi-Square Test and Mann-Whitney U Test.
